Members overwhelmingly agreed that hot baths and hot tubs provide significant relief for fibromyalgia pain and stiffness, with many describing warm water therapy as one of their most effective pain management tools. Several members recommended adding Epsom salts to enhance the therapeutic benefits, soaking for at least 15 minutes in water as hot as tolerable, and considering memberships to wellness facilities with hot tubs, saunas, and aqua therapy options. A recurring theme was that while heat therapy works wonders for most people with fibro, individual responses vary, so it's worth trying inexpensive options like home baths with Epsom salts before investing in equipment or memberships.

Hot baths in Epsom's salt is my go to and seems to be the only thing that relieves my pain when I am having a really painful day. I sit in the tub with as hot of water that I can stand (which isn't very hot as I am sensitive to temperature too) and it is the only time that I can actually feel pain free. When I am in the tub it takes only about 15 minutes to feel the relief and I want to stay in there just to get that short time to be pain free. Once I am out of the tub I am not totally pain free but it certainly helps me a lot. Everyone is different and what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another but what ever you find works for you will be a good thing. I am so grateful to have the therapeutic relief of a warm soak in the tub as its not expensive nor difficult to get to.

I happen to have been blessed with a very hard working husband who bought me an inflatable hot tub by lay-z-spa and OMG it is a blessing and it is by no means disguised ... It heats up to 40c and the bubbles and jets and such and the inflated sides rather then hard ones make me the happiest person ever :) get one ... Good lord get one even a second hand one people I can't recommend them enough for us!!! Xx

I am sure hoping so! Getting a membership soon to a wellness facility that has aqua therapy and hot tubs and sauna. So fingers crossed ;)

Agree with McD above. I've taken more baths in the last 3 years then the rest of my life combined!
