I love mediation and yoga, that's how I practice mindfulness, it didn't cure me by any means but it has helped with pain and just keeping me positive. If I'm calm and less stressed from taking time out for me, then I can handle all of this Fibro stuff better :) it may not be for everyone but it doesn't hurt to try!
Mindfulness has done wonders for me with anxiety and ptsd.i now you it for pain. You really need to find some that work for you. Ones that you like and can get into. I was taught in a therapy group. I can't stress how much this helped me!!! I hope you try it! Xoxo
I have tried it a few times. It does help as long as you fully immerse yourself in the practice. All these things help settle the mind and relax the body. Anything is worth a try in my book. Good luck xx
That makes sense since it is such a meditative kind of activity. I read that doodling when listening to someone actually makes y out more engaged with it, not less
I am learning to do mindfullness but as @A MyFibroTeam Member says it can take on different forms. Mine is through meditation and i can manage to do it while colouring
