I find I could spend some days doing nothing but sleep. I tire very easily now. Cleaning my living room wears me down and I usually have to nap. Thank god for my ex and his girlfriend because without them my house would be a disaster.
Not sire what is worse the pain or fatigue, I need at least an average of 12hrs sleep a day, not all in one go, usually wake up once through the night for an hour or two go back to sleep and have a nap through the day, even if I have slept for 12 hrs will need a nap if I need to do pretty much anything, after 4-5hr ls of being awake im exhausted, I have found though not to fight the sleep as I sleep better during the night if I nap through the day, otherwise I become over tired, cranky and cant sleep
I have to deal with this everyday. I just cant keep my eyes open, feeling completely drained. Any suggestions on what will help to keep me awake and focused.
Once I slept 20 hours! Working graveyard shift and going to college during day wrecked me.
I have had FMS for about the same amount of time as you. When I was working full-time I could sleep from Friday night till Monday morning except for maybe getting up to go to the bathroom or eat a bowl of cereal or something quick and then go back to bed. Now that I'm not working I have some nights were I'm up till 3 to 4 in the morning, but I do still have times when I can sleep 12 to 15 hours and still have to force myself to get out of bed.
