Members shared their personal strategies for relieving severe full-leg muscle spasms, with the most common approaches being immediate movement like walking or stretching until the spasm passes, having a partner massage the affected area, and applying heat through hot baths or soaking in Epsom salt. Several members highlighted the potential benefit of supplementing with magnesium or potassium to prevent spasms, though others cautioned that potassium supplementation should only be done under a physician's direction due to overdose risks. A recurring theme was the acknowledgment that these spasms are uniquely painful and often strike at night, with ice, chiropractic care, magnesium lotion, and essential oils like lavender also mentioned as helpful remedies.
