Members connected over the shared experience of severe muscle spasms and charlie horses throughout their bodies, confirming that these debilitating symptoms are indeed part of fibromyalgia. Several members shared medications that have helped manage their spasms, including Flexeril taken daily, Baclofen three times a day, Gabapentin at night for restless legs, and supplements like magnesium, calcium, and zinc, with some also finding relief through TENS machines and essential oils. A recurring theme was the frustration of not realizing how many symptoms are tied to fibromyalgia, the constant struggle to stay functional and working, and the comfort of knowing others truly understand the unpredictable pain.

Just two nights ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible muscle spasm on my legs, neck and upper arm. The worse ones were when I suddenly got sharp pain around my buttocks like someone stab me. My hubby took me to the ER and just to find nothing. My Doctor said it was muscle spasm. So yes, this is the many symptoms of Fibromyalgia

Yes I suffer with this as well. I take flexeril every single day and it helps a little. When I was working (Ive been off for a while now) i had to wear a tens machine on my back for the entire 12 hour shift just to get me through.

Thank you for responding. I'm so sorry... So you're not currently working? That's what I'm trying to avoid. I don't want to waist any agency's time. I've got to find a new provider here in Phoenix.

That's just how my fibro feels pretty much everyday. When a spasm or cramp is just starting not a full cramp or spasms. When they become full then I am in bad shape. Hugs and Prayers
