I think the hip pain is from lack of exercise because you lose your muscle in your hips from feeling shitty. I try to ride a bike every morning to help build my muscle tone and do squats.
I also suffer with back hips to but I have fallen and I was check for equina or something like that but test was negative so they put it down to my fibro .I also suffer with neck shoulders and spine .much love and hugs to you xxx
I have been dealing with that the last few months. PCP sent me to PT. Had my 1st appointment last week and 2nd one tomorrow. Felt good when I left the office, in fact went to the grocery store right after. NOT the smartest thing to do, but as you well no we Fibros always try to do so much when we feel better. I got done, went to my car and sat and cried for 15 minutes because I felt so bad. Went to PCP the next morning and she told me to take 800 mg. of Ibuprofen 3 times a day and go home and lay down, and I did. I'll tell you one thing I won't do that tomorrow after my appointment with PT. My PCP said it might be the performis muscle which bushes on the sciatica. PT thinks it might be the back and that something it stuck and we need to start there and then move on.
I feel the best when I lay down, but my mind says why are you in bed again? Such a fight within our own bodies.
All the time. Fibro doesn't descrminate, it attacks different parts of our bodies, wherever and whenever it wants. For the last two weeks I've had extreme pain in the right side of my lower back, over and down through my hip and down my right leg to my calf.
I'm not sure I would agree Kim. My hips and lower back really hurt most of the time. I exercise by swimming 32 lengths 3 times a week and doing a 4 mile walk at the weekends. I also used to dance ce roc but have given that up for the time being as it is so painful after. However the swimming really helps.
