I would gladly practice holistically if practicing holistically for very serious pain was legal in the state that I live in. :)
i dont take any drugs at the moment, came off them due to serious side effects... dr wants me to try a couple different ones but not made my mind up yet.. i just put up with it all lol
I lived in Michigan and was prescribed Medical Marijuana. I had written numerous papers on it in grad school about how it was a wonder drug with Chronic Pain. We actually have THC receptors in our brains. I would have never tired MM because of the stigma until I was suffering from a 3 month long Compound Migraine. My son knew I couldn't/wouldn't smoke it so he took the smoke in and just blew it in my face. I got enough that in 20 minutes the Migraine was gone and I felt great. I was extremely tired from the migraine and slept like a baby. I totally believe in Vaping the MM and when it becomes legal in Florida I will be very happy. It does work and I am one scenic who was taught a very valuable lesson.
I have a teen at home and heart disease in my family ( I do not have it to this point, thank you Father) with that being said, because of the side affects, I do not take a prescription, such as Lyrica or Cymbalta because of the risks. I have found that recently the over the counter guafinasin has helped somewhat, I also take a holistic leg pain relief and Advil. Like most, some days are better than others, nights not so much.
Sazzie that is where I am. I have moved to Florida getting new doctor and pain management but I dint want tho be doped up like I have in past.the meds almost killed me and I couldn't function.
