Does anyone suffer from dry skin not sure if it's the meds or the fibro I've never had it before and my face is really dry and patchy?

Members overwhelmingly confirmed experiencing dry skin with fibromyalgia, with many noting changes from previously oily skin to now requiring daily moisturizing, alongside symptoms like random rashes, itching, and constant peeling, especially on the face and feet. Several members shared practical remedies that have helped them manage the dryness, including coconut oil applied after every other shower, high-quality lotions like Oil of Olay, aloe propolis for itchy skin, fish oil tablets taken internally, and adding a humidifier to the home. A recurring theme was the challenge of identifying whether the dryness stems from fibromyalgia, medications, or overlapping conditions like menopause and hypothyroidism, with members encouraging the original poster to mention it to their doctor while trying gentle at-home remedies in the meantime.

Yes my skin is very dry and I am not on meds right now. I use Oil of Oley with 7 different minerals and oils .. I love it and use it on my face too. Any lotion you like will work but I find quality lotions are better than cheap oil based lotions.

Really high quality Aloe Propolis is great for dry skin. I use it day in day out. It is also good for itchy skin. Let me know if you want more information.

I also use coconut oil every other shower, I alternate it with a shea butter product, it helps tremendously, I cannot skip a day though or I dry up.
