Members connected over the frustrating experience of chronically dry skin, with many attributing it to their medications or underlying autoimmune conditions like fibromyalgia and psoriasis. Several members shared products that have helped them manage dryness and flaking, including organic coconut oil, shea butter, Gold Bond Ultimate, CeraVe, aloe propolis, and emu oil, with many emphasizing the importance of applying moisturizers to damp skin for better absorption. A recurring theme was the trial-and-error nature of finding relief, with some members experiencing mysterious rashes and lesions that come and go unpredictably despite medical treatments.

My dermotologist told me my chronic dry skin was actually a mild case of psoriasis. She recomended CeraVe.. You can get it at CVS.

Really high quality Aloe Propolis is great for dry skin. I use it day in day out. It is also good for itchy skin. Let me know if you want more information.

Try coconut oil while your skin is still warm and wet. Body absorbs better and coconut does not have added chemicals that dry your skin out. Believe it or not but companies add chemicals to dry your skin out so you have to keep buying their product.

Mine has been dry for years, meds or no meds. I can grease it up but it doesn't help a lot. Let me know if you find something that works.
