@A MyFibroTeam Member I assure you our healthcare is not free lol. Canada is one of the highest taxed countries in the world. We pay about 30% tax on our income and then 13% on every purchase we make. We basically take home 50% of what we earn. Our healthcare is just included in the taxes.
I have never went to the ER because where I live there can be up to a 20 hour wait. @A MyFibroTeam Member has a good idea about having a note from your Dr.. My Dr. gave me a printout with my diagnosis and my meds on it when I first was diagnosed. It also says "no history of addiction" on it which is especially good I think for someone with chronic pain so they don't think you are drug seeking. Like I said, I've never gone to the ER but I try to remember to carry this sheet in my purse in case something happens to me.
Well I've been to the Drs and it's not much help they just change you from One medication to another I'm reslly fed up I feel that no des r interdested
Yeah inqas aware you had extremely high taxes
Wow, if I took home 1/2 my pay, I'd end up homeless
