I am having problems with my feet and the shoes I wear. I can seem to find the right shoe for formal wear. I used to wear heels and now it seems I can't no longe wear them.

Members shared their collective grief over no longer being able to wear heels due to foot pain, balance issues, and lack of ankle support, with many describing the emotional loss of feeling feminine and fashionable. Several members recommended specific comfort brands like Dansko, Mephisto, Allegria, Taos, and Yellow Box, highlighting features such as wedges, platform soles, Velcro closures for adjustability, and cushioned flip-flops that provide relief while still looking polished. A recurring theme was finding creative ways to stay comfortable without sacrificing style, balancing practicality with the need to feel good in what they wear.

Yea most shoes cause a lot of pain but there is a new brand of shoes sold at Belks stores especially for back and Fibro issues. They have really cute sandals. If you go on there website you will be able to pick them out. The name of them has left my brain.

I love my flip flops all the time I know they're not the best for your feet but the comfort level is awesome.

I never wear heels anymore. Even for church I'm in flats. Good thing there are soooo many cute styles in flats. My son is getting married in October. Just bought a pair of formal wear heels. Could hardly stand in them. LOL! But seriously I know how you feel. Heels are feminine.
