Members strongly related to the intense urge to stretch joints to the point of feeling like dislocating them, with many describing this as a constant need that never quite feels like enough relief. Several members shared strategies including myofascial release therapy (which one member credited with helping them transition from using a cane to walking), stretching frequently throughout the day whenever the urge strikes, and being mindful to stop when pain increases since overstretching often leads to increased discomfort later. A recurring theme was the shared experience of needing deep, almost extreme physical release from fibromyalgia pain, balanced with the hard-learned lesson to pace oneself and listen to the body's limits.

Fibro Warriors, look to see if there is anyone in your area that does Myofascial Releases. It's a series of stretches aimed at releasing trigger point and tight bands of Myofascial tissue. Look it up on line. There is a clinic in Sedona As that specializes in it. It's not a massage, so don't expect that. I went from using a cane for two years to walking. If done by qualified therapist, you will get mobility back. They can be painfully but the results are amazing. Supportive hugs

I find myself stretching alot, no matter where I am, if I feel the need, it's so happening. I told the nurse yesterday people probably think I'm weird but I don't care, they will stay away. Lol
I hurt more when I am still. So yes
