and i bet most of us carry about 10lbs of water weight alone...most of my weight is around the abdomen, and i heard that because of the cortisol levels with those with fibro it makes us retain more water than the average person....
Coconut oil! Organic, unrefined coconut oil helps with weight loss and belly fat. I have been using it exclusively for several months now and I am beginning to pull out jeans and tops that I haven't been able to wear in several years. I also cut extra salt from our diet and only use unsalted butter for things that need butter.
I've gained at least 50 pounds. Makes me soooo sad.
I've , all my life, always been super fit. I taught spinning, swimming and other classes.
I'm embarrassed to go out of the house.
I do swim and when I'm in the water I don't feel any pain.
i just got tested and i show a high glucose problem; there is a theory that fibro people have kidneys that do not work efficiently;it can be hereditary i know that you need strong working kidneys and pancreas so our bodies can deal with blood sugar efficiently; if not, it becomes fat very easity; i am going to start taking d ribose to help control my blood sugar...and yes weight gain seems to go hand in hand; i have to reduce my carbs significantly esp sugar and simple carbs but even the complex carbs; i sleep more than the average person and i am able to only walk up and down my street for exercise or do light gardening; my muscles go into bad spasms from doing too much; i was underweight most of my life
Hi
I feel ur frustration big time. I've had this awful disease for along time but it wasn't til recently that the weight started pouring on like butter. I don't hardly eat anything I have a 3 yr old so I'm always busy with her hardly ever sit and still gaining. I do have hypothyroid and the medication in was prescribed doesn't do anything but make me thirsty. I've basically been telling myself incant go back to how i was before I was bulimic/anorexic for years upon years and although I had nothing bad happen I know bunn time it be oils have killed me but I think about how by him in was then and its tempting but non thanks . I've recently found a product called Try Vision that's suppose to be awesome people losing weight like crazy with all sorts of health issues. I personally haven't tried it yet but I plan on ordering it tonight or tomorrow I will let u know if it works for me if u would like. Also if I find anything else that would help with weight loss I'll let u know. I know how maddening this can be as well as depressing and making u want to isolate urself Cuz u don't like the way u look. Don't ever feel like ur alone in this because ur not!!!
