I have to use a cane every once in a while just feel like my hips are going to give in
Before Christmas I could walk without a walking stick, now I dare not go out the house without it. The other day I was walking in town had cramp in arch of one foot at the same time in ankle of the leg, I would have fallen without stick!
I recently bought a cane. I use it on days I'm going to be doing a lot of walking. I also use it to get in and out of my pool because the stairs have no railing.
My knees hurt the most but I have a cane and if I seem alittle wobbly I will use it.
Yes, even now, 2 months after great hip replacement I still get shaky and use cane every once in a while. My feet sometimes don't work so well(they don't lift walking enough) and I've been know to fall down.
