Members from the UK and US connected over their experiences with Lyrica for fibromyalgia, with most reporting significant side effects including weight gain, drowsiness, memory issues, clumsiness, and feeling spaced out, while several found it either stopped working after a few months or provided minimal pain relief. Several members shared the harsh reality of inadequate pain management, including one member whose Medicaid doesn't cover Lyrica and leaves them suffering without adequate treatment or even basic necessities like glasses. A recurring theme was the frustrating balance between seeking relief and managing debilitating side effects, with many members expressing empathy for each other's struggles and the unfairness of living with constant pain.

Hi I'm UK Scotland and take lyrica. Only been on it 2 weeks. Started at 50mg, 3 taken daily. Now on 100mg 3 times daily. I find I'm clumsy, spaced out, memory issues, basically just not with it. Had to stop driving too. And yes I feel hungry. Waiting to see my doctor but u can wait up to 3 weeks here for an appointment.

I did not tolerate lyrica well at all. It made me depressed. I'm glad now because I couldn't afford any more weight gain. I am very sensitive to medications so I can't tolerate much of anything..
