Someone told me to do something and that was to listen to your body. Today I did just that, I love cleaning and take great pride in it but today I was having a good day and didn't want to turn it into a bad day so I took my time, pottered about, and only did the downstairs which I normally do everywhere, the upstairs can wait till tomorrow, I've been into town for lunch with my sister and had a lovely day, if I'd have pushed myself too much it would be a different story. I'm now watching tv on my own in my pj's with my dancing legs! What I'm saying is @A MyFibroTeam Member just do what you can do when you can and dont put yourself in any danger, x

Hiya.. I've been signed off work for 2 1/2 years but I had depression and anxiety on my sick note as I'm still awaiting a diagnosis for FM. I was on ESA and then I had to have a work capability assessment which my sister came to with me. I went through everything with the assessor and through the symptoms I am getting and that I am having tests to confirm FM and he even said there is no way you can work like that. I had a letter from DWP stating they was stopping my ESA as I was fit for work, you get a copy of the interview you had and all mine was wrong, I appealed it and I lost so now I have to claim JSA even though I still am on the sick! Please appeal if you are found to be able to work and the interview is wrong. A friend of mine failed the appeal as well for something else and she went citizen advice bureau and they were fantastic with her and she managed to get PIP in the end. I've an appointment to do just this with CAB in 3 weeks time! Good luck x

I have mine on the 27th next week, I do work but only part time, the dwp will do everything they can to force u back to work, its a mine field of paperwork and face to face meetings, then they right a rubbish report, if u walk from a seat to an office u can work, its a joke, would be cheaper for us to have benefits and not pay the jobs worth who try and stop us, grrrr

It is strange how on a good day, you are afraid to hurt you and on a bad day, you just can not do anything for the pain. I have lived with this most of my life. So like you I clean the house in parts stop rest and do another part till it is done. Hugs to you Claire, MM
