Members openly shared their experiences with decreased sex drive, with many attributing it to fibromyalgia medications like Cymbalta, chronic pain, or a combination of factors including age and stress. Several members emphasized that while their libido had diminished or disappeared, their relationships remained strong through intentional communication, physical affection like hand-holding and kissing, and patient, understanding partners who were willing to adapt together. A recurring theme was the importance of talking openly about these changes without shame, finding creative ways to stay connected emotionally and physically, and recognizing that prioritizing pain management over intimacy is a valid and necessary choice.

Sex ?? whats that ?? My hubby knows what I go through and because of our meds it just don't happen. But because we take time to cuddle ,kiss when we pass in the house, slow dance to our favorite songs, and remind each other how important they are and make time when the other wants to talk our love is still very much alive.I agree that communication is the key.

Yes I have no want what's so ever But I try to put how I feel aside sometimes so my spouse will not feel so left out. He understands it will not be like it was before. But we try to talk about it and compromise. Communication is the key even if it is hard for you to talk about. Also hold hands, kiss or just a touch on his back so he knows you still love him , it will also make you feel more connected.
