A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ok, l have an embarrassing question for my sisters please. I’m having some post menopausal bleeding and light cramps for the first time in a least three years. I assume/hope it might be a fibroid, cyst or maybe just hormone imbalance. I’ve been on HRT for couple of years and done well with it.
Spoke with nurse, she said when l go in they will do an ultrasound first. Just curious if anyone has been through a similar situation and how it played out. Thank you very much for your advice.

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Bit of a strange question but
I've been having a few inquiries for the ladies out there
I've read about worsened period pains and flare up surrounding it but do you have any other female organ related issues.
To specify more I've been having bad stabbing or like shocks of pain around what I estimate is my cervix.
And although yes my periods are horrible, I also haven't had one since October..

Endometrial Ablation
A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

I asked my doctor about getting this done because I have bad periods and anything else I have tried has not helped, with the last thing being the IUD and now may need to be surgically removed 😞. I was told that you have to go under to get the Endometrial Ablation and when your period returns she told me I’m obligated at that point to get a hysterectomy? Has anyone had this done and can give me any advice or input please?

Has anyone experienced extremely intense pelvic/abdominal pain? It's been going on for over 2 years and I'm no closer to a diagnosis and am really frustrated. I had a flare of this on Friday night that was so extreme i couldn't walk(my boyfriend had to partially carry me to bed Friday night, and not the romantic way). I told him i would be surprised if i didn't throw up from the pain before the night was over. I didn't, and am very surprised by that. I've gone to 2GI specialists and an OB/GYN… read more
