Postmenopause

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ok, l have an embarrassing question for my sisters please. I’m having some post menopausal bleeding and light cramps for the first time in a least three years. I assume/hope it might be a fibroid, cyst or maybe just hormone imbalance. I’ve been on HRT for couple of years and done well with it.
Spoke with nurse, she said when l go in they will do an ultrasound first. Just curious if anyone has been through a similar situation and how it played out. Thank you very much for your advice.

And although yes my periods are horrible, I also haven't had one since October..
I'm trying to figure out if this fibro related or if I should press it next time I speak with my… read more

Does Anyone Have Endometriosis Along With Their Fibro & Cfs?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭

If so, what treatment plan does your Dr recommend? I found out today I have Endo & the Dr wants to put me straight onto the Lupaneta Depot shot, which puts your body into Menopausal mode. I'm not sure this is safe for me, esp being the first treatment option. Please help!

A MyFibroTeam Member

I had endometriosis my entire life. My mother had it as well. I think there is a hereditary factor to it. Luckily, I was able to hang in there long enough to go through menopause early in life… read more
