Members shared a wide range of personal experiences with Mirtazapine (Remeron), mostly in the context of fibromyalgia, insomnia, and chronic pain. Several members found low doses helpful for sleep without major side effects, while others reported difficult reactions like heart palpitations, blistering, wired feelings, and increased appetite. A recurring theme was that everyone responds differently to medications, and many encouraged speaking openly with a doctor about concerns before trying or stopping any drug.

I won't take more that 30mg here they go up to 45 it's usually started on the lowest dose of 15 then put up if needed. 15 or 30 are fine for me. 1 doctor told me the sedative effect doesn't work at 45 I did not find that to be true.
I took the 45 for a very short time. Did not like how the added 15 made me feel.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Thank you kindly for your kind words! I do my best to be positive through everything the best I can, because I know it could always be worse. Im a true believer of the Almighty God and I know it only possible because of him. Tho I have my own rough days and sometimes feel, like I can't get through all the struggles, I'm then reminded there are people who have it much worse. We all are warriors, and we have to be to be able to live with Fibromyalgia and side effects and other medical conditions many of us have! We all have to stick together and encourage others with kindness and care. The world needs more Jesus and kindness and coming together.
I hope this finds you doing well and having a blessed Monday Sir.πŸ™πŸ»

To be honest they didn't put me on it for depression, they tried me with so many medications for pain and sleep nothing worked huge side effects. This is the only thing that worked for sleep with the pain. It's different for everyone. There are so many medications I can't take that I've noticed on here people are on high doses. The low doses they started me on had terrible side effects. Hope this helps a little.
We really can't go from what other people say about medication as everyone is different and I always think what suits me may cause awful side effects in others. It's really best to speak to a doctor sweetheart tell them your concerns try it and if it does not suit you within a few weeks come off it with medical supervision. Take care Peps 🍁πŸͺ·πŸŒΉ

I’m going to ask for something similar cuz I’m both on pregabalin & noritriptyline. I either have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. Feel better!
God bless

I'm a fibro patient, and I have many allergies to different medications and my pain doctor tried me on remeron and I took it for almost a month , but had to quit. It wired me so bad and gave me heart palpitations severely and dry mouth bad and very odd dreams , increased appetite, and then .... my mouth and hands then started blistering. So I stopped taking it and contacted my doctor and she said it's good thing I did because it could have only gotten worse.
