Just giving my opinion, I'm older (60) and went through menopause. I never thought I'd lose weight but I was a former athlete for a long time, and a friend is a dietician and she encouraged me to try something different. Long story short I went organic. Keep in mind organic doesn't always mean it's the best. I still have to read labels but I lost a lot of weight. But I gave up all food additives and processing . I was a kid raised in it so anyone can do it. By the way my dietician's advice stuck with me " our food industry is likely causing us issues". I was also told that eliminating all that processed food was a big help in eliminating inflammation in my brain. And the most beneficial thing after two years of continuous brian fog, it lifted. I stick to the low fodmap diet, great for IBS, slow gut motility, anti-inflammatory, whole foods. No calorie counting or weighing,
no guilt, eat as much or as little as I want.
I dont have gluten or dairy which is renowned in Fibromyalgia as inflammation triggers.
For treats, i have dark chocolate, gluten free cake and who doesn't enjoy a fresh sweet peach or juicy watermelon?
I have lost 1st 8lbs in a year.
Im not going without, im eating better and reducing my inflammation
