Thanks so much @A MyFibroTeam Member, my heart goes out to you coping with this 24/7.
I use something on my iPhone that I thought I'd try to explain, but here's a better description, just in case it helps you. I listen to audiobooks often and have this background sounds feature. I think this helps. Maybe you're already aware but just in case.

@A MyFibroTeam Member Your doctor needs to listen to something and get his head checked out. Bare with me.
Bottox injections in the jaw can start tinnitus, temporalis muscles shifts how bite forces and tension distribute across the jaw, which transiently impacts the adjacent temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and nerves linked to the ear.
As injected muscles weaken, compensating muscles or shifting joint pressure can temporarily alter ear sensations or ringing. This can be short lived after the injection yet with fibro it may last longer. I can't believe that doctor told you to listen to white noise and get your hearing checked. What a total plum

@A MyFibroTeam Member I'm sorry to hear about your tinnitus. having it in one ear feels very lopped sided. Thanks for your message. Nature noises is a lovely idea. When I wake up before dawn due to pain πŸ™ˆ (I know I'm not alone in this) I love to hear the birds starting to sing! But an audio track for my night-times, is really good. xx

Thanks for understanding. πŸ₯° I will go back to the face surgeon on Thursday who did the botox as opposed to my GP and see what she has to say. I expect I just have to hope it wears off and my buzzing stops. 🐝
