I've used "Wise Men", like Tammy. It has myrrh and Frankincense in it for nerve pain. It has a heavy earthy smell to it, which makes it hard for me to breathe. Didn't help me much, probably because I have primarily muscle pain, not nerve pain, and emu oil helps me with that. πŸ’œ

When I purchase something on Amazon, I read the bad reviews first and I go into these people's other reviews to see if we have anything in common.

Frankincense lotion is an interesting one to explore! While there aren't specific MyFibroTeam member experiences shared about frankincense lotion, topical pain creams and lotions are a popular topic in the fibromyalgia community.

It's worth knowing that research on compounded pain creams and gels suggests they may not provide significantly more relief than a placebo for chronic pain. That said, individual experiences can vary quite a bit β€” what works for one person may not work for another.

Some over-the-counter topical options that MyFibroTeam members have found helpful include:

- Cooling gels with menthol or aloe for soothing burning or stinging
- Aloe vera with lidocaine for itching and discomfort
- Fragrance-free moisturizers to reduce dry, irritated skin

If you're curious about frankincense lotion, it may be worth trying cautiously. Just keep an eye out for any skin reactions, especially since fibromyalgia can make skin sensitivity more pronounced.

Sharing your experience with others on MyFibroTeam could also be really valuable β€” you might be the one to help someone else discover something new!
