Vertigo and balance is off a lot
SherryPederson, I understand! I use a cane, I have my Pacemaker cards, and Medicare on me. My oldest stepdaughter is a Police Officer, I’ll ask her.💞
I would like to have one, when I use a public bathroom I usually use the handicap one because there is more room. The other ones can be so small it’s actually painful to move.
That's such a valid concern — balance issues and vertigo are very real fibromyalgia symptoms that could easily be misread in a roadside situation. A medical ID can absolutely help here!

If you were pulled over by police over here and told them you had vertigo and were off balance the first thing that would go would be the driving licence. Maybe things where you live are more relaxed.
If so just explain to the police what the situation is and hopefully they will help you 🌷❤️
@A MyFibroTeam Member that’s a great question! I would hope (hope being the operative word) that a police officer would understand people have medical issues. I also wouldn’t worry too much about it because police officers would only ask you to walk in a straight line for suspicion of DWI.
