Hi Sharon I get this a lot especially when I am flaring. Actually I can tell when I am physically flaring because my feet are very sore. My feet will hurt constantly. At first I thought it was neuropathy but I kept thinking it was odd because I didn't have other symptoms of neuropathy. I then realized it must be different. When my friend who has fibromyalgia mentioned it as a problem I did my own research and like many symptoms it came right up as a symptom of fibromyalgia. People with fibromyalgia are likely to to experience trouble with their hands and feet because our nerve ending stop there so the pain gets amplified there as it has no other place to move to. Plus your feet and hands normally take a lot of regular pressure. I'm sure everyone is different and responds to different treatments. When mine gets tough I use arnica pain relief cream on them. It takes the edge off so I can move forward. I know what you are going through. It hurts. I understand. I'll have to do more research on it, if I find anything that might be beneficial I will let you know. I wish you the best.

Yes, you're definitely not alone in this! Numbness and tingling in the feet is a recognized symptom of fibromyalgia. The nervous system changes associated with fibromyalgia can cause a range of unusual sensations, including persistent numbness.

Fibromyalgia pain and sensations can be described in many ways, including:

- Tingling
- Numbness
- Burning
- Shooting or stabbing feelings
- Aching or throbbing

These sensations can affect different parts of the body, including the feet, and for many people they can feel constant or never fully go away. It's worth mentioning this specific symptom to your doctor if you haven't already, especially since it's persistent. While numbness can be part of fibromyalgia, a doctor can help rule out any other contributing factors and explore management options that might bring some relief.

Many MyFibroTeam members share similar experiences with ongoing sensations in their feet, so know that others truly understand what you're going through. 💙

Thank you all for responding to my numbing feet question. It's good to know I'm not alone.
There are so many strange fibro symtoms we are all dealing with.

Yes, sadly, but I also have neuropathy along with the fibro amongst other things that cause it.

Sharon, I experience the same. The soles & toes are numb & it feels like I’m walking on rolled up socks.
