Members strongly confirmed experiencing tender, painful soles as part of fibromyalgia, with many describing difficulty walking, burning sensations, and pain concentrated in the balls of the feet or heels that worsens first thing in the morning. Several members shared helpful strategies including custom orthotics from a doctor or foot specialist, wearing supportive shoes or slippers indoors at all times, rolling feet on frozen water bottles or tennis balls for massage relief, and soaking feet in cold or ice water to calm inflammation. A recurring theme was the comfort of knowing others understand this frustrating symptom and the importance of finding the right combination of footwear, stretches, and pain management techniques to stay mobile.

I have terribly sore feet but I think it might be plantar fasciitis and heal spurs. Check with your Doctor or a foot specialist. There are some really good shoes and inserts that help all kinds of conditions. Also if you fill a small pop bottle with water and freeze it you can roll your foot back and forth on the ice bottle and it really helps relieve pain. A tennis ball as well can help by rolling your foot on it as it helps massage the tendons. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, there are days I have to place my feet in ice water because of the pain. They feel in fire with a lot of pain in the bones toward the front. Take care is not easy this Fibro.

I'm just starting to feel the pain in ball of foot as well. I thought it was due to going from summer flats to my fall/winter shoes with more of a heel.

Yes! I cannot go without shoes of some kind, even in the house. It really hurts to walk without shoes. :(

Hi Leanda I used to have lots of problems with my feet until I was fitted with orthotics, they made a huge difference, maybe worth looking into, ask your Dr for a referral
