Ok if anyone is tired of my standard answer please ignore me. This is a common fibromyalgia central nervous system response. Your cns in fibromyalgia is overwhelmed and you cannot process what is happening therefore you get many unexplained symptoms. I have found this out for studying for many different years and by personal experience. You can find more info on this by looking up fibromyalgia how does my central nervous system get affected. I hope this is helpful. I can attest to these symptoms and I feel you.💖💜☯️I wish you well.
Yes. I try with all my might to focus on what I can control and what I can not control.
Dawn gave excellent advice. I had to learn that taking care of myself wasn't selfish. Rather, it's essential.
That's something I can control.
Only then I can take care of others.
A place to start... meditation.
Thank you to all of you. @A MyFibroTeam Member we have been saying that all day that my flares will calm down now we are home schooling her. No more worry or stress. I just feel so tired and ill but it will pass. Xxx
Thank you @A MyFibroTeam Member I will try. Having a little celebration party tomorrow so that's quite relaxing as its just us. A few games and laughs just a nice relaxing atmosphere xxx
Thanks for asking this question because it's one that I get confused by.
And really, whether you're ill due to a virus or ill due to a flare up, you still deserve care, rest, and help. You have to take care of you.
But back to the flare up question that I grapple with: It can be confusing in part because a cold aka rhinovirus vs flu aka actual influenza vs norovirus (gastrointestinal illness) are such varying symptoms of various illnesses. And I don't know about you but whenever I get ill I get a flare up of fibromyalgia.
Feeling in general the sense of being "run down" can definitely be a clue that we're in a fibromyalgia flare up for me personally.
Feeling extra pain can, too.
For me, though, the symptom of having swollen lymph nodes in my neck/throat area before a flare up is my major signal. Something happens with my immune system when it comes to flare ups.
Sorry if my reply is too long-winded and bottom line I just hope you feel better friend!
