Members from the UK responded warmly to a question about whether the UK has a holiday similar to America's Memorial Day, sharing that Remembrance Sunday is the UK's equivalent, observed in November with the wearing of red poppies to honor those who lost their lives in war. Several members shared personal connections to the holiday, including one who used to make and sell poppies for the British Legion and another who shared the heartbreaking story of a young uncle killed in World War II. A recurring theme was a sense of shared grief and global unity, with members expressing that remembrance and honoring sacrifice transcends borders and connects people everywhere.

Yep it's bank holiday here on Monday. I just wrote that and it's gone poof!
I may have opened my mouth at my neighbours πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ oh my! They all have cars they all have jobs they all have a roof over their heads and food.
Yet today I lost the plot. For the first time since September it's been hot today.
Apparently too hot, yesterday it was too windy, the day before it was to wet, then the drizzle was annoying a bald dude who got out of his car to walk a 100 yards to the door.
Moan moan moan!
They may not come out of their hell holes *here's hoping*
The stalker upstairs has stayed in his flat without coming out for 3 weeks, I went outside and poof there he is.
Well! He didn't stay out for long. Oh dear πŸ™„ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
I'm going for a nice walk before I sleep. I put gel on my hair and chucked it up and I swear you could hit me over the head with a brick and my hair would not move πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ anywho happy bank holiday and lest we forget what Monday means. It does not mean the pub. Or the fair. It's a day of remembrance. πŸ’—βοΈβ€οΈπŸŒŸπŸŒ· With love and hugs me 😘

I'll celebrate your great rememberanc days with you. I look at the world as one. A whole. A whole bunch of people all connected it matters not where you are from what colour your skin is what nationality you are. As far as I am concerned we are all the same some having much more difficulties than others. So we should be there to help as much as possible. Happy 25th of may πŸŒΉπŸ¦‹πŸŒ·πŸ™πŸ»
