I think the Buddhists ate right. Peace is found in balance and we must strive to walk the middle way. Always seeking the balance between. Nonattachment is a way to piece and the recognition that nothing in this world is permanent. The universe is in constant flux and constant change. There is no stopping it. There is no permanence in this world.

By not being materialistic relieves you of the burden of striving for things that may beyond your reach and the reward is peace of mind and that's the most precious thing of all. The glitz and glamour doesn't matter if you don't have peace in your heart.
I do too Jodi, I try to practice mindfulness. It’s a good thing!
