So since being diagnosed- I have really bad temperature sensitivity. Hot weather makes me ache, nauseated, and only being out for 10 mins and im red even without the sun. I go out in a t-shirt on 45 degree days. Anyone have suggestions. I have a fan in my purse. Anyone try the cold sleeves?

The fan in the purse? Genius move. Here are some other strategies that may help manage temperature sensitivity:

- Cold/cooling sleeves β€” Many people with fibromyalgia do find cooling gear helpful, especially for outdoor activities
- Cooling towels β€” Wet and wrap around your neck for quick relief
- Lightweight, breathable fabrics β€” Moisture-wicking materials can help regulate body temperature
- Limit sun and heat exposure β€” Try to plan outdoor activities during cooler parts of the day (early morning or evening)
- Stay hydrated β€” Dehydration can make heat sensitivity and nausea worse
- Portable cooling sprays β€” A small misting bottle can offer quick relief on the go It's always worth mentioning your temperature sensitivity symptoms to your doctor, as they may be able to suggest additional management strategies tailored to your specific situation.
