Members responded with warmth and solidarity to someone experiencing fibromyalgia-related pain in the shoulders, upper back, and neck, confirming these are common and often debilitating symptoms for the community. Several members shared helpful coping strategies including prescription muscle relaxants like Robaxin, chiropractic care, physical therapy, anti-nausea medications, natural topical creams like Fysio Creme, and gentle massages from loved ones. A recurring theme was that this pain is real and recognized, and that finding the right combination of treatments takes time and self-advocacy.

I have a physio who tirelessly works to help me stay upright and I also use ondansetron for the sick feeling when the pain is too much. I do love "fysio creme" too. (deep heat made from natural ingredients).

Hi hun I get pain in the areas you mentioned. It makes me feel so ill. I have to take pain killers and just lay down for a while until it settles. Sometimes I ask my kids to massage my neck for me (my daughter is brilliant at it). It really helps loosen it off while I rest. What do you do for your pain? Hope you feel better soon xx
