The Visible app is a great tool that many people with fibromyalgia have explored, especially for tracking energy levels and pacing β two things that can make a real difference in managing day-to-day life with fibromyalgia.
Pacing is one of the most talked-about strategies in the fibromyalgia community. As one MyFibroTeam member shared:
- "One of the hardest things is learning how to pace yourself. So when you feel able to do things, you don't do it all in one go and put yourself back where you started with no energy and a lot of pain."
- "Learning to pace yourself is the best thing you can learn. Our energy level changes when we are using more energy to get something done that used to be easy and now takes more time."
The Visible app aims to help with exactly this β giving you data on your body's signals so you can make smarter pacing decisions before you crash. Regarding the wearable band, many users find it adds more precise heart rate variability (HRV) data, which can improve the app's pacing recommendations. Without it, the app relies more on self-reported data, which is still useful but may be less detailed.
It's worth posting this question to your MyFibroTeam community feed β members there often share real, lived experiences with tools like Visible that go beyond what any general resource can offer! π

I downloaded the app and am using the free section.
It is useful as it does tell one when one needs to take an easy day.
