My fibromyalgia pain I take it how it comes. Flare ups, everyday pain I can handle it now. I don't mean to make it sound easy it's hard to get through but that's what I do I get through it. But having my tooth removed has floored me. I've never felt so tired, so much pain with this thing. Am I just soft or is there a reason why sometimes things hit us harder?

I remember a nurse said that a huge biker dude came into the emergency department and he was sobbing. He had a toothache. That kind of nerve pain is so, so painful in such a unique way. Major ouch. I'm so sorry you're going through this.
It's really crap, I take paracetamol every 4 hrs use a cold pack on the mouth. Rinse the mouth every hour with salt water and pop pain gel on the gum not on the extraction site.... Also just a question.. Do you have problems with your sinuses? As this can add to the pain as sinus pain can lead to tooth pain so when you've had anything done it will hurt a lot more ❤️💖🌷🌹
Yes it’s the nerves in tooth. Did someone here mention oral gel? To sooth the discomfort ?
I hope you feel better soon ❤️. Please be gentle with yourself. It's dreadful, but try to envision the end of it.
Please don't feel negative about yourself. Give yourself time to heal and you can celebrate the eventual victory!!!
Remember, you are a fibro warrior!!
If you have other injuries like I do , it can make it even worse. They've been wanting to do acdf on my neck for many years and I'm not going to have it done for many reasons that I won't go into but the pressure hurts my neck immensely so I bring a rolled up towel that I put under my neck and I make sure my legs are up because that helps my back pain which was caused by an orthopedic surgeon. He made everything worse and the pain management doctor made everything worse as well so no more doctors thank you. But the teeth are very important and if you get an infection and don't have it taken care of you can actually die from it. I was told that my great grandfather died from a tooth infection
