So I've been using rosehip as an alternative option to naproxen and it started out good. Unfortunately it can not totally replace naproxen. I still need to take between 1-1,1/2 of naproxen along side rosehip to get all the benefits from it. It was worth the try but I'm still going to take it as anything extra to help is always welcome to me as long as it's natural. So that's the outcome. Xxx

I take 1 naproxen every 12 hours. My doc regularly orders blood work to make sure of my kidney function I think.

How has your experience been combining rosehip with naproxen for fibromyalgia pain management?

It's great that you're exploring natural options and finding what works for your body! Many people with fibromyalgia discover that combining natural supplements with their medications can provide better relief than either approach alone.

Your willingness to experiment and adjust is exactly the right approach. Finding the right balance often takes time and patience. Even if rosehip didn't completely replace naproxen, the fact that it allows you to reduce your medication dose is still a positive outcome - you're getting additional support while potentially minimizing medication use.

Keep tracking what works for you, and make sure to let your doctor know about any supplements you're taking alongside your medications. This helps ensure everything works together safely and effectively.
