I need your help and input about SiBO.
My relative seems to have had this since having both Flu and Norovirus at Christmas.
She just finished 2 weeks of antibiotics on Sunday. It has not improved.
She doesn’t want to take more antibiotics and is considering using some natural oils that effectively would kill the bacteria.
Antibiotics destroy the good bacteria in one’s intestines and sets one back too when one has fibromyalgia.

Here are some tips members have shared for digestive comfort:
- Drink peppermint or herbal tea before and after eating to reduce digestive accidents
- Research foods that are good or bad for joint pain and digestive health - what you eat matters significantly
- Keep a symptom journal to track what triggers your digestive issues so you can share patterns with your doctor
Since SIBO requires specific medical treatment, partnering with your healthcare provider is essential. They can provide proper testing and treatment plans tailored to your unique situation.
