Members connected over how bad their brain fog has gotten, with many sharing that they once handled demanding jobs like managing hundreds of complaint emails but now struggle to read or respond to simple messages. Several members offered helpful coping strategies, including using sticky notes, meditation with controlled breathing, setting small goals, brain training apps, learning a new language, and supplements like CDP choline and creatine. A recurring theme was the relief of knowing they are not alone, along with the importance of being gentle with yourself on harder days.

I absolutely understand where you are coming from. It takes me ages to respond to a post, I miss out words with bad spelling, punctuation and keep repeating what I have wrote previously. The brain fog smothers my train of thought and clarity on what I wish to say. As I may have said in a previous post I like to use this site to get things off my chest and use as a diary. I find it difficult to read because my concentration is poor but short posts and tweets are better for me. Subject to contrary belief I do have a brain , it does work! I just need to exercise it more.
Take the strain and don’t let the brain drain.

Some ideas to share...

I find that meditation while doing controlled breathing helps me.

I also try to have realistic expectations. I tell myself it's ok

I try to set simple goals to accomplish tasks one at a time.

Someone could tell me something or I could read something and within 10 minutes it's gone out of my mind. I'm useless unless I make notes to remind me of something I'm doing or going. Xx

@A MyFibroTeam Member I also thought something was wrong with me because I worked dealing with 500+ emails on a Monday morning dealing with customers complaints and issues and I done it with no issues but now I just find it so difficult I also have forgot so much like what I learnt at school my spelling has got pretty bad as well I am glad its not just me!
