Members enthusiastically connected over the shared challenge of managing recurring vitamin deficiencies, particularly B12, iron, and vitamin D, which many attributed to chronic illness, limited sun exposure, restricted diets, and difficulty absorbing nutrients. Several members offered practical strategies, including taking supplements together with daily medications to build consistent habits, using apps like Cronometer to track nutrient intake from food, incorporating nutrient-dense additions like hemp seeds and chia seeds into smoothies, and trying magnesium spray for muscle relaxation. A recurring theme was the humor and solidarity around being fussy eaters, the struggle to remember taking multiple pills daily, and the creativity required to sneak nutrients into familiar foods without sacrificing personal preferences.

That smoothie sounds really good.

Itโ€™s alright, Jo, we still like you, even if you are a spinach hater. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’›

@A MyFibroTeam Member I take 1/2 C unflavored Greek yogurt, 1/2 C frozen berries, 1 tsp fiber powder, 2 tsp collagen powder, 2 T hemp seeds, 2 T flax seeds, 1 scoop protein creatine powder in vanilla and water to the fill line and mix in my smoothie maker. You could add other things like spinach or chia seeds. Tons of nutrients and you donโ€™t even know they are there.
