@A MyFibroTeam Member, that's a good question.
When I get Internal Tremors, it feels like my nerves are shaking. I tend to experience it when I haven't slept enough and I'm physically exhausted. They occur when I am trying to fall asleep or they can occur when I am sitting quietly and trying to read a book.

I just woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep because I felt like I was shaking on the inside. I have a tinge of a headache and I’ve had Covid for 10 days. My oxygen was 74.

Do people with fibromyalgia experience internal tremors or internal shaking sensations?
Yes, some people with fibromyalgia do report experiencing internal tremors or shaking sensations. A MyFibroTeam member described having "muscle twitches" and "weird sensations" that occur just as they're falling asleep, which can be quite unsettling and interfere with rest.
Another member mentioned experiencing "internal jitters" alongside their anxiety, which can feel particularly distressing.
These sensations can vary from person to person and may be more noticeable during certain times, like when trying to fall asleep or during periods of increased stress or anxiety. The muscle twitches and internal sensations can sometimes keep people awake or make it harder to get restful sleep.
If you're experiencing these symptoms and they're affecting your quality of life or sleep, it's worth discussing them with your doctor. They can help determine if there are ways to manage these sensations and improve your overall comfort.
