How does fibromyalgia affect your ability to walk?
Fibromyalgia can make walking and movement significantly more difficult, though it typically doesn't cause a complete loss of ability to walk. The challenges come from several fibromyalgia symptoms working together.

Thyroid malfunction can have an effect on walking, too.
My biggest issue is my legs feel like I’ve fun a marathon when I walked up a 2 m slight incline. 😔 I try not to allow the burning in my muscles and weakness to stop me. If I try to walk too far sometimes my legs are agony in the night. Heat helps. And hot baths Magnesium. It’s such a balancing act. I was able to get a diasability permit for my really bad days. I also have a compressed nerve in my leg which doesn’t help. I do walk in water when I can.
I hope you are able to get some help.
All the best. Kx
Yes between my nurological conditions and fibromyalgia I am now disabled and practically housebound I have started to see a physio who has designed stretching to help flexibility stiffness and strength it has helped to some degree but just keep plodding on
