Members rallied around someone struggling with severe fatigue and pain that kept them bedridden most of the time, offering creative solutions to reduce the physical and financial burden of daily tasks. Several members recommended grocery delivery services like Instacart instead of DoorDash, Meals on Wheels for homebound individuals, local Better at Home programs for housekeeping and meal delivery, and tools like the Visible app to track energy levels and the spoon theory to pace activity throughout the day. A recurring theme was finding ways to stay nourished and functional without overextending limited energy, with many members sharing how adaptive cooking tools like the Ninja Foodi and recumbent bikes helped them maintain some independence while honoring their bodies' need for rest.

I do but get up to make meals, do housework, so I keep active, do my exercises, go to appts, as you need to live a life to be strong.

Not in bed but I'm stuck in my recliner with my legs elevated, watching tv, or on the lap top or I phone. I do use my recumbent stationary bike 6 days a week for 1/2 hour

Our community has a service called better at home. We have a house cleaner 2x a month and two delivered meals. Hoping you might have such a service where you live.
Look up spoon theory This measures spoons of a day to energy used It is great for pacing

Have you been to a sleep clinic. I am missing a whole cycle of sleep

I have to have 3 rest/ naps a day.

Have you tried. Free app so far called visible. It measures energy between heart beats. Very reliable. Great to show your doctor results

@A MyFibroTeam Member I use a food ninja as well- it bakes, steam cooks, air fry’s, and several other functions.
It can drastically reduce cook times and therefore time on my feet. 😊
