Members connected over the question of being stuck in bed due to fibromyalgia pain, with many sharing that fatigue, flares, IBS, and other symptoms make daily activity very difficult. Several members described strategies that help, including taking vitamin supplements like D, B, C, and E, using a recliner instead of lying flat, trying telehealth appointments, and pushing through short walks or light movement when possible. A recurring theme was the emotional toll of losing friendships and missing out on family life, balanced with strong encouragement to rest without guilt and keep pushing forward.

I made myself get up take a shower and went for a walk . While painful I felt productive. I refuse to just lay in bed . Life is different but we have to keep pushing guys with Gods help we can do it. It’s ok to rest but move those bodies as much as you can . I find that lying around although necessary at times make me feel better . Do what’s best for you .

Me and my bed became vary good friends since I got fibromyalgia!! I spent all my energy and more all day at work and when I finally come at home I have to lie down to my bed otherwise I won’t manage my flare up which are daily constantly and get worst at summertime.
