Does chronic fatigue syndrome make you feel nauseous?

While nausea and digestive issues can occur with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), which is a common comorbidity of fibromyalgia, the search results don't specifically mention vomiting as a primary symptom. However, many people with fibromyalgia experience a wide range of symptoms beyond pain and fatigue.

CFS often presents with symptoms like:
- Extreme exhaustion
- Orthostatic intolerance (feeling faint when sitting or standing)
- Brain fog
- Various other physical complaints

If you're experiencing nausea or vomiting, it's worth discussing with your doctor. These symptoms could be related to your condition, medications you're taking, or another underlying issue that needs attention. Stomach pain and digestive problems are mentioned as common struggles for people with fibromyalgia.

Keep track of when the nausea occurs and any potential triggers, as this information can help your healthcare provider better understand what you're experiencing and how to help.

I have felt that as well, though not officially diagnosed with CFS, I’m positive that I have it. I also have Zofran for the more severe days.

I too have bouts of nausea and sometimes trapped air too. Sometimes my mouth will suddenly begin to water profusely and I just know I am close to vomiting, but I press down hard on the acupressure point between the two tendons near the back side of my wrist and stay still until the feeling eases up and often this helps me to avoid puking.
I do keep some Zofran on hand for P.R.N. use (as needed).

I am often nauseated and my doctor has me on Zofran permanently, as needed. Not sure it's related to Fibro or not but it could be related to some of the meds making you nauseous. It's a thought. 🤔
