I did better this year with the flu shot. They took out some of the chemicals. I always take Pepcid a-few weeks before all of my shots because I always throw up. When I was 65 I got Influenza A and ended up in the hospital deathly sick for 10 days, because I hadn’t gotten any shots ever, and being older I was at risk. So I get all my shots now.

I understand why people feel nervous about the flu jab this year. But I had mine today and for me it feels important to have that extra bit of protection, even if it means a few days of side effects afterwards. Many of us living with long term conditions know how hard it can be to deal with a bad flu on top of everything else. Anything that helps reduces that risk feels worthwhile to me.
It’s of course a personal choice - everyone has to do what feels right for their own health. I’ve taken paracetamol and I’m hoping for a good nights sleep 🤞

I get my flue injection each year no side affects just a soar arm.for a few days I also get the covid injection same day.

I had the flu jab , did not notice any difference to my usual fibromyalgia rubbish 💁

Here in Canada I heard on the news that the predominant strain this year is not included in this years shot. Also, with all the proof of issues with the Covid shots I refuse to take the chance as I've heard all the shots are being converted in MRNA gene therapies so they are no longer vaccines as we knew them. I would rather take my chances with the flu but it is a personal choice.
