I have a friend who broke her shoulder this summer. Her 3 boys are trying to get her on it. They say it's amazing. Boys are in 30s & 40s. Anyway i looked it up & the science is there. Its been around for a while. But few clinical trials. So not FDA approved. I searched about it helping with Fibromyalgia & it says it could be very helpful. Im also having liver & gut problems & it says helps with that. This info is from National Medical Library
So was wondering if anyone has tried it? Or heard… read more

Thank you for your answers. I don't think I'm ready to try just yet, either.

I researched it just a bit and I think it sounds risky. I see different companies have packaged it, so who knows what is really in those bottles. They don't have to follow any guidelines since it's not FDA approved. Buyer beware.

Has anyone with fibromyalgia tried BPC-157 peptide?

Based on the search results available, there aren't any MyFibroTeam members sharing experiences with BPC-157 specifically. The community discussions focus on other treatment approaches that members have tried.

Since BPC-157 isn't FDA approved and has limited clinical trials as you mentioned, it's really important to discuss this with your doctor before trying it—especially since you're dealing with liver and gut issues. Your doctor can help weigh the potential benefits against any risks given your specific health situation.

MyFibroTeam members have found relief through various approaches including:
- Alternative treatments like acupuncture and tai chi
- Pain management options (topical gels, medications)
- Energy management strategies
- Working with doctors who take a holistic approach

Some members have had success exploring alternative medicine routes after traditional prescriptions didn't help. The key is finding what works for your body while staying safe, which means keeping your healthcare team in the loop about any new supplements or treatments you're considering.

Can’t say that I have, but I’m curious to read about it.

I did type it into SuppCo. Looks like some products meet their claims and others fall short. But we see those same disparities in all supplements.

So, if you decide to try it maybe check it there first. 🤷‍♀️

Edit: looks pretty expensive, not to say it couldn’t be worth it. Just unattainable for some, myself included.
~$100-250 for 60 pills
