I have been take Tizanidine for years and it no longer works. I have tried hydroxzine, trazadone, some OTC. I am exhausted but still can't sleep well.
@A MyFibroTeam Member I am finding magnesium list benefits for most of the symptoms of fibro. A magnesium supplement before bed has helped me relax way better than melatonin. I just switched from magnesium citrate to magnesium glycinate. The citrate form is better for bowel stool, glycinate for relaxing muscles, magnesium malate is better for energy. If one form doesn't work, try another. Magnesium doesn't stay in the blood stream. The body stores it in bones and muscles. The supplements add it to blood stream for temporary effects. My psychiatrist recommended it. I have sleep apnea also, and day/night cycle often gets mixed up. Magnesium has made a noticeable difference for me.
I have tried alot.of things my doctor just put me on dayvigo a newer sleeping pill less side effects tried it twice now seems good and I dont feel hung over the next day. Helps with getting to sleep and staying asleep. For me it's only way I have slept for more than 2 hours straight in about 10 years now.
I only use Tizanidine when the pain is unbearable, making it hard to sleep. Other than that, I take 10mg melatonin each night about an hour before bed. Hydroxyzine gives me daytime nightmares, so I cant take that.
I use THC or muscle relaxers. It's the only way I sleep.
I take edibles to sleep. Canna River gummies delta 8
