I no longer take meds, unfortunately the side effects on the last ones were unbearable for me and the doctors refused to offer me anything i haven't already had and didn't work. I have been meds free and in bad pain for over a year now but I am, sadly used to it now. i get a lot of headaches, they can wake me up in the night, I wake up with ones so bad i can't move my head but I still get up and do what i have to because i know if i gave in and stayed in bed I would never get out again.

I'm on topiramate for preventing migraines and Imitrex when I get one and it will stop it in about 10 minutes. The topiramate works great I hardly have migraines now.

Thank you for sharing this. You are very brave and an example to us all who have fibromyalgia. God bless you!

I have that also and during a flare my glands under my ears swell out and get sore.

Yes. You know, I actually have better luck with myofascial release around my jawline, neck, and shoulders to be more helpful than meds.

Sometimes I take meds and they help and sometimes they just don’t touch it. 😅
