Had a migraine this morning or some sort of headache .
Now I'm going through a flare
Upper shoulder all the way down my left arm aching so much very deep ache
Upper back ache
Leg aches
Tight neck and chest
Collarbone ache
Boob aches
Anyone else get these with the flare up it definitely is a flare cause like I said I had a headache of some sort this morning and last week I was on menstrual so this week I suppose my hormones are all over place just to add to it

Question if periods cause flareups what about post menopause? Well I don't have to the severity that you ladies have shared but I sure am moody and deep sadness comes on.i miss having someone to talk to. I never thought I'd be alone at this time in life.
Ida, I’m alone also…it’s the pits! Right before Christmas, I was fortunate enough to get a wonderful service dog. A pet really helps…k don’t feel quite so alone any more. Getting older is not easy!
Absolutely, Ida. It’s not about the period as much as it is the imbalance or change in hormones that triggers flares.
To my limited knowledge, most people experience an ease in symptoms post menopause, but that is not the case for everyone.

Claire I'm the same I think this is my new normal now I've noticed periods are now causing flare ups and any pain any stress any emotion I can even get a flare up if I get to overly excited over something 😣😬😂it's crazy . Margaret thankyou for that answer it definitely helps me understand that this is fibromyalgia what I'm experiencing. You are all so amazing 🩷🤗xxx
Yes I get all these as my new normal, pain gets worse when flaring. I used to find that mine ramped up just before my period and for a few days after.
