Members shared a wide range of mobility aids they rely on when managing fibromyalgia, MS, and related conditions, including canes, rollators, walkers, wheelchairs, grab bars, shower chairs, and perching stools. Several members described using multiple devices depending on the situation, such as keeping a cane in the car, a rollator indoors, and a wheelchair for longer outings, while others mentioned helpful additions like bed rails, raised toilet seats, and leg orthotics. A recurring theme was the emotional tension between wanting to stay independent and recognizing the real need for safety aids, with many encouraging others to use their devices without shame.
