Members overwhelmingly agreed that balance struggles are a real symptom of fibromyalgia, with many describing frequent falls at home, on stairs, and even just walking to the bathroom, especially during flares. Several members shared practical coping strategies including using a walking stick on bad days, moving faster to maintain better balance, and one member noting that checking blood pressure and iron levels can help rule out other causes. A recurring theme was the embarrassment and frustration of constantly tripping or bumping into things, yet members found solidarity in knowing they weren't alone in this challenging and sometimes dangerous symptom.
