Members validated the original poster's experience by confirming that symptoms like widespread body aches, chest pain, anxiety, and sleep difficulties are all normal manifestations of fibromyalgia, though exhausting and frightening. Several members recommended practical tools for managing anxiety and pain, including hypnotherapy, meditation, and cognitive behavioral therapy, noting that while these require consistent daily effort over months, they can significantly reduce both fear and physical symptoms. A recurring theme was the isolating emotional toll of living with fibromyalgia, especially when family members don't understand or provide support, balanced by the community's deep empathy and encouragement to keep going despite the daily struggles.

Sadly Lucy these are all fibro symptoms. You could use hypnotherapy or meditation to ease anxiety. You have to practice twice daily for months. This will also ease other symptoms. I don’t know if this is viable but cognitive behavioural therapy works well with anxiety, requires a lot of mental effort. Take care Lucy. I wish I could really hug you, because you’re young a mother and you suffer so much. Take care.

Lucy there are days when you can be in pain from the roots on your head to your toe nails and sadly this is all part of Fibro. Try and find something positive doesn’t have to be big that will remind you that you are human and this is you and your journey and one way or another you will get through this xx
