Members expressed enthusiasm about trying infrared sauna therapy, with one member who invested in a home unit years ago reporting it has been excellent for detoxing from environmental toxins like pesticides and heavy metals, though noting it should be discussed with a doctor first as it is not safe for everyone. Several members shared that the therapy can include features like color therapy lighting and music, with one member describing a 45-minute session at 122 degrees as deeply therapeutic and relaxing. A recurring theme was curiosity and optimism, with members eager to hear results and recognizing that while it may offer relief and wellness benefits, it is not a cure for conditions like fibromyalgia or cancer.

We bought one of their floor models so we got a good discount LOL. It's to bad it's not a required appliance built into every home for health!

Nancystein that’s great you invested in one and yes I hear it’s good for cancer patients or something. Also yes the one I was in had different lighting and a cd player . I sat in there at 122 degrees for the full 45 min . I loved it . So therapeutic

Yes we invested in one years ago. Best thing we ever did! We bought it for detoxing our bodies as my husband was diagnosed with cancer and for my fibro. We also have color therapy in ours which has different colored lights that are suppose to be good for different ailments. Our model is from "Sunlighten Saunas". It simply plugs in no water needed. You can listen to music and read and have your bottled water with you! We are also very fortunate that our clubhouse has a wet sauna. One in the men's room and one in the ladies room.

Of course just like anything it’s not a cure but possibly just temporary relief
